I’ve never had any problems of retirement.
I remember noting that my pension will soon be expanded and that if I continue with my career, I could only against the value of deposits of more than eighteen cans of pop, as if I am retired and do not continue for a settlement cheque! Back, I thought, this is a morning on the beach with a pair of rubber gloves, a half-hour with a bag at a rock concert or an hour to visit my neighbours recycling contributions.
I had hobbies, I wanted to take, read newspapers, too late at night to see films, and for once, I wanted the one hand, those responsible for what I was doing every day. For ninety-six years, as Pavlov “dogs, I answered a bell. Ring, work, livelihood ring for lunch, ring, time at home. The choice was easy. It took every thirty seconds.
Do not get me wrong, I had a very pleasant and exciting career, I am not against something, but as the retirement next day comes, I became aware of other retirees in training and the Confusion was rampant in their lives. Some, like me, were relaxed and count the days, while other federations, and seemed worried sort of “lost”.
But this is where it is interesting. I always have problems in understanding why some retirees have a lot on a problem that does not work. Although some difficulties, money, either because it does not have a pension, whatever their nature or it was a failure to save for the future. Sometimes a family disaster or a disease that has forced the problem. Whatever the reason may be, I think you have a good concept and a plan if the retirement is for you.
The most important of all is the approach. As in so many things in life, it is more in the neck, as the problem is that the real problem.
Try and you look at retirement as a second school closure.
We all wanted to leave school and move. We all expected, what we would do, and some even have jobs or educational institutions. None of us planned to go back. We wanted a fresh start a new life. We wanted to experience life and grow. I do not remember all my friends say: “Geez what is boring, I wanted to, I could return to the High School!”
Take the same prospects of retirement. Plan, before jumping. Think of it as a new era in your life, a chance for a fresh start, an opportunity to amend, make new things, live an exciting life, learning a new language, a new hobby, start a new homeland. Amend senses!
The retirement should be the oldest university conclusion, and I do not want to return to another.
In fact, I’m not really a good example, because after the conclusion of my high school I spent a few years in the university and then went back to school as a teacher.
In fact, bad example.
Well, you get the idea anyway, is not it?
